The original French version of the guide, published last November, has also been revised and includes an updated list of available resources.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by the <strong>Documentary Network<\/strong> and <strong>Antenne Media Grand Sud<\/strong>, the ADDITIONAL FUNDING GUIDE FOR DOCUMENTARY FILM lists the major sources of additional funding available to the documentary industry in Canada, the US and Europe. The organization strives to improve documentary film development, production and distribution. The Observatoire is a place where professionals gather to reflect on and discuss the industry to ensure documentaries are distributed on all available platforms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MEDIA<\/strong> is a European Commission program whose mission is to support the European audiovisual industry. MEDIA \u2014 comprised of 32 different member countries \u2014 endeavours to help address the dual challenge of producing content that respects cultural and linguistic diversities while making its mark on the international market. Through partnerships and agreements with provinces, territories and non-governmental organizations in support of second-language learning, and initiatives fostering mutual understanding between English- and French-speaking Canadians, this program brings Canadians to recognize and support linguistic duality as a fundamental value of Canadian society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Canada Media Fund<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"out\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cmf-fmc.ca\/\">Canada Media Fund<\/a> (CMF) fosters, develops, finances and promotes the production of Canadian content and applications for all audiovisual media platforms.
